Today we are discussing what is Digital Marketing and its types of marketing, and why it is important. How many digital marketing strategies are available in the market, and in the end, we talk about the conclusion of this topic.

I know you have heard about Digital Marketing word because this industry is booming nowadays and a lot of job opportunities are coming in this field that’s why understanding this field is very important.

Many people all over the world are using internet services tremendously by which over the past year usage of digital marketing is growing but most people are using and still, they don’t know that this is digital marketing what they are doing like surfing the internet, type the query in the google search, and many other things and that’s why I am here to tell to that how you can do digital marketing and its main types in a very effective manner for business owners and agency.

What is Digital Marketing?

Digital Marketing in simple terms means the promotion of your content, products, services, or website blogs through marketing channels and technologies all over the internet to the targeted customer of your niche by digital marketing types like Social Media Marketing, Email Marketing, SEO, and many more, etc.

SEO stands for Search Engine Optimization which means it is an ongoing process for your websites to rank higher position in Search Engine Result Pages (SERPs) on a particular keyword for which you are creating content. In digital marketing and its types, SEO is the main subcategory. SEO has mainly three 3 types: SEO ON page, SEO OFF page, & Technical SEO.

SEO ON Page means you have to do the SEO on the webpage means onsite in which for doing SEO on the page only SEO on-page factors will include headings, meta description, keywords, Alt Tag, SEO content writing, installing Google Analytics code, and many more.

SEO OFF page we have to do from other sources instead of our webpage. SEO Off-page factors are forum posting, article submission, guest posting, social bookmarking, and many more to do SEO off-page.

In the last Technical SEO, you have to install an SSL certificate and speed up the website, and find errors in the webpage to do Technical SEO. SEO is great but it takes a lot of time to rank your webpage on a particular keyword.

SEO happens on your website free of cost without paying any money to Google in paid Ads you have to pay some amount of money to google for a particular keyword for a particular time but in SEO it is free of cost to show your website on a particular Keyword on top SERPs which gives more profit to your website if you have properly done SEO for long term.

2. Pay-Per-Click

PPC stands for pay-per-click means an advertiser pays some amount of money for advertising a website on a particular keyword that is inorganically whenever he needs to advertise his content.

In the PPC model advertisers have to pay money to the publishers whenever users click on the advertiser website link. PPC is also called CPC model Cost per Click. PPC is a buying method by the user’s visits to your site in comparison to SEO which is an earning method where users visit your website organically.

In the PPC model, it is right that those who bid more money on a particular keyword to the publisher get the highest rank in the Google search ranking but it doesn’t mean that every time the highest bidder takes the highest rank, for taking the highest rank owner of the website has to bid highest with great content available inside the website.

The only difference between SEO & PPC is that SEO is organic and PPC(paid marketing) which is inorganic where you have to pay money for paid marketing to reach the customers or users.

3. Search Engine Marketing

SEM stands for Search Engine Marketing which is also the same as the PPC model where you have to pay only for the users when they clicked on your site link on search engine result pages. SEM in the past be include the 2 terms SEO & paid search marketing but now it only defined paid search marketing which we have known as PPC – paid search marketing now.

SEM can be identified in search engine results pages which show website links with sponsored and ad tags. Sponsored and ads tag are mainly found on e-commerce sites to increase the sales of the store.SEM mostly occurs in Google or Bing Ads brand or any other search platform where Ads can be placed. Billions of users search daily on the Google platform.

4. Social Media Optimization

SMO stands for Social Media Optimization, which is used to create online brand awareness in the digital media world through social media networks like Facebook, Instagram, and many more.

By building the online presence of your organization you can build your online community and promote your services & products. You can reach your customers online without paying any money through social media platforms.

To optimize your online presence you have to do the followings things in your profile:
